"Hey Melissa, I really like my new saddle. I've ridden many a different type of saddle, but this one is in the top 2 for fit and comfort. It's definitely the best fitting, most comfortable saddle I have ever owned. It's beauty adds to it. Really satisfied. Thanks Melissa. Oh, you may notice that we have solved the problem of his low front. Changing his shoes (thick, heavy, plantation type on the front and light, thin ones on the back) coupled with the saddle fit and raised saddle pad really does the trick. "Wow, finally some answers!!  The saddle fitting advice I have generally received is a bunch of crap!  (Sorry!) None of it makes any sense at all, and it just frustrates me so much that there doesn't seem to be a standard between brands.  It's just like buying clothes.  Why can't a size 12 be more similar between brands?  Know what I mean? Anyway, just before I read your reply, I read your saddle fitting 101 on the Website.  It is SO excellent.  Thank you, thank you for the wonderful and clear information.  I would absolutely LOVE to set the tree on the horse before buying a saddle!!  I have often wondered why the saddle shops don't have samples of the trees for the main brands they carry.  I guess that would be too simple (!).  Poor horses.  If an intelligent and caring person (which I consider myself to be!) gets so confused by all this, then how is the conventional person, who buys a saddle and uses it for many horses, ever going to learn anything?  I just feel so sorry for the horses that it makes me want to cry.  Sorry about the ranting.  ...believe me, I've read lots of articles and talked to lots of people about this.  I even made a saddle form out of cardboard from some instructions I read, and the salespeople totally ignored it and obviously thought it was ridiculous!   Thanks again.  You are really doing a wonderful thing for our horse friends.  Not only are you providing great information in a clear and concise manner, but you are offering great saddles for great prices.  I'm going to tell everyone to check out your site and saddles.  Now we just have to be sure to buy one before everyone figures out what you have and the prices go up!!"
