Great pad for a hard to fit...or any horse!

High contoured front good for a horse with a prominent wither, as it provides protection for the wither.  Good for a low withered horse also---gives you a place to "hang" the saddle that they don't have naturally!  Any pad with a contoured or cut out front keeps the pressure off the withers and allows easier movement than a pad that rests on the withers. 

Shock foam bars sit under the bars of the saddle tree and perform two important functions:  1) Absorb shock well and 2) Assist with saddle fit.  The shock foam conforms to the horse and saddle and eliminates any "gaps" so you have even weight distribution.
