Exercising our rights as United States citizens to keep public lands open to the public

Caring for and handling livestock in a humane and natural manner

Wildlife conservation through responsible hunting and fishing

As you browse the on-line store, you will see that Mountain Horse, Inc. has several products that support our philosophy. Mountain Horse offers horse products that assist you in enjoying the beauty of our great land through recreation.

The staff of Mountain Horse, Inc participate in riding, hunting, fishing and camping and seek to support our horsemen (and women), hunters, fishermen (and women) and outdoor enthusiasts!

Stock Care and Containment offers products that assist in handling stock in a humane way, while at the same time, also assist with low impact camping.

Mountain Horse offers assistance with saddle fit and therapeutic saddle pads for the comfort of your horse or mule.

Where applicable, product descriptions offer advice to keep your stock more comfortable. For example, tips on loading saddle bags, packs and panniers humanely are offered.

Mountain Horse has a strong interest in and desire to promote methods of effective, natural communication with our horses and mules. Whether you call it "horse whispering", "natural horsemanship" or "horse communication", it's great that there are many trainers, clinics and products offered that support a safer, more natural way to develop a good, lifelong relationship with your equine companion.

Mountain Horse also supports groups such as the Back Country Horsemen of America and their affiliates who promote conservation and preservation of natural resources by actually getting out and taking action!
