Barrel Saddles

Barrel saddles not only work great for barrel racing, they offer several other benefits for our customers:

1)  They are a nice lightweight option for our customers searching for an all leather, lightweight saddle!  They weigh approx 27 lbs.  The shorter, minimal rounded skirts make them easy to lift and handle.

2)  The shorter, rounded, very minimal skirts on most of the barrel saddles are also nice for a shorter backed horse and accomodate their build comfortably. 

3) Work great for kid's saddles too!  6.5" polymer tree is available in seat sizes 13" and 14".  6.5" FLEX tree is available in a 14" seat too!

4)  Like all of our other saddles, we can customize color,  tooling, rings, strings and silver to make these saddles personalized just for you!

Ready to order your saddle?

Mountain Horse Saddles are custom built saddles.  So when you place your order, then we will build the saddle to your specifications.  Saddle builds take approx 3-8 weeks, depending on the time of year, the options you choose and how busy our saddle maker is.  We will let you know when you place your order approximately how long the build will take.

We occasionally have some in stock, used or consignment saddles.   What we have in stock will be shown at this link.

To order on-line through the On-Line store  choose from the options given which custom items you want (leather color, tooling, real wool fleece option, different tree options, seat size etc.)  Our saddle maker's will build the saddle to your specifications and price will depend on the options you choose.  If an option that you want isn't listed...e'mail us at holly@wyomingsaddlery.com.  It may still be something we can do.
